Actor Simbu, who has landed in huge legal trouble for using obscene words in the controversial beep song, has now got a relief, as the Madras high court has offered him anticipatory bail.
Earlier, Simbu was summoned by Coimbatore police to appear before them, after a FIR was filed against him under the sections under Section 67 of the IT Act and 292 of IPC, both of which deal with obscenity.
Simbu has later filed a petition in Madras High court seeking anticipatory bail, and has also urged the court to dismiss the cases filed against him, as the song wasn't released officially, but was leaked by someone unscrupulous
