Emergence of Anirudh as a Brand

Anirudh is not just a name, it is a brand, unarguably, one of the most valuable brands in Kollywood. Not many would continue their dream run for a long time, but Anirudh has been yet to put a wrong step in the times where, critics and fans are waiting to write off a person, irrespective of his/her past records. The boy is turning 25 today. Let's take a look at what he had done so far and why his career graph is always growing towards the Y-axis.

'3' Every music director would love to wield all his best tunes on his first opportunity and Anirudh is no different. Well, let's not touch 'Kolaveri', as it has already been discussed and written similar to the numbers of the views that it had garnered over the 4 years of its inception. 'Idhazhin Oru Oram', 'Kannazhaga', 'Nee Partha Vizhigal', and 'Po Nee Po' are still fresh enough to entertain the masses. I have not seen people juggling with the remote/ changing the FM stations when the above songs getting played. Not sure, how many people had listened to the remix version of 'Po Nee Po' which was sung by, Sathya Prakash. Well, if you haven't, then, take your earphones and do it right away. You will genuinely fall in love with the brilliance.

'Ethir Neechal' The Sophomore project, which is a litmus test to many people, because of the expectations created by the debut victory. But Anirudh had other ideas. He roped in 'Hip Hop' Tamizha and took his tunes to the veteran, Valee, and created a brand new flavor. Be it the 'Ethir Neechal' title track or the melodious 'Velicha Poove', he won the hearts of youngsters right away. The rest of the album kicked along with the momentum of two biggies and wiped off even the minute doubts whether the 'Kolaveri' boy is a one film wonder.
'Vanakkam Chennai' Having been teamed up with Dhanush for the first two projects, Anirudh came out of his comfort zone to score his first hat-trick. This album has placed him in the elite league with the earworms like, 'Penne Penne', 'Osaka Osaka', 'Engadi Porandha', and 'Ailasa Ailasa'. But, the 'Chennai City Gangster' sounded a bit like his earlier tunes and he gave the first opportunity for the critics to point out something.
'Velaiyilla Pattathari' Anirudh has literally transformed himself as the most important person in Tamil Cinema with this album. Be it the 'VIP' title track or 'Whatta Karuvaad', Anirudh gave an impression that he's the best in the business to read the pulse of the current generation. Having said that, he displayed his voraciousness with 'Amma Amma'. Over the years, Tamil Cinema has given a few songs which praise the love and affection for mom's, and this one joins in that elite list.etc....
