Vijay Sethupathi's "Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum"
Director Nala Kumarasamy's rom-com Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum is getting bigger and bigger. We hear that the film, which has Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna in the lead, has bagged the maximum number of screens for this Friday. Inspired by the Korean film My Dear Desperado, the film narrates the love story of a ruffian and an educated girl who is on a job-hunting spree. Produced by CV Kumar, the director has also assured that the film will have a perfect mix of romance and comedy. Abi & Abi Pictures is distributing this entertainer in association with Studio Green.
Anjali New Role In Mapla Singam
Starring Vemal and Anjali in lead roles, Mapla Singam is an out and out romantic comedy that wont fail to entertain you. The movie is set around the background of Theni. Anjali and Vemal belong to rival camps and the former plays the role of a junior lawyer. How the two of them get into some trouble and find their way out of it forms the crux of Mapla Singam's story. The movie hits theatres on 11th March.

The final schedule of Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali has been completed recently and the post-production works are in full swing. The latest is that the team is planning to have its audio launch and teaser release in April. There is also a buzz that the launch might take place in Malaysia. Produced by Thanu, the thriller narrates the story of Kabali, a middle-aged gangster who comes out of his past to lead a normal life. He is short-tempered but exudes with self-confidence. When his past starts to haunts him, he has to go back to his real self. Interestingly, director Pa Rajinth has already revealed that the film will not have any regular punches but would definitely have few meaningful dialogues.

As it is being expected for long Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 59th film 'Theri' will be hitting the screens on April 14, 2016 as a grand Tamil New Year Treat.
The film's producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu has verbally confirmed the release date of the film on Tuesday. He also confirmed that the audio launch will happen on March 20 and a new audio label will be launching the audio.
Though we had known the release dates earlier the confirmation coming from the producers, gives a sense of reassurance as we can be certain to receive a fantastic treat on the aforementioned dates.
Directed by Atlee, 'Theri' stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in lead roles. G.V.Prakash Kumar has composed music for the film and this is his 50th film as a music director.

Alia Bhatt, the sensational Bollywood heroine has now revealed that she wants to come down south and work with ace director Maniratnam.
In her recent interview she stated "My dad (Mahesh Bhatt) keeps pushing me to watch regional films. He had said that I should definitely do Bengali films. I've always wanted to work with Mani Ratnam, so maybe I'll go down south and work with Mani sir."

Anirudh Sings For Kabali !...
Composer Santhosh Narayanan who composes for Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali, will also be composing for Udhayanithi Stalin's upcoming film "Manidhan" which is the official remake of the blockbuster Hindi film Jolly LLB.

Kalabhavan Mani's Death Registered As Police Case
Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani has passed away Sunday evening in a hospital in Kochi. Though it was said that liver related aiments were the reason for his death, the police have registered a case for unnatural death, after the traces of methyl aclcohol was found in his blood. They are now investigating about the possibility of a murder or suicide.
Postmortem will be done at Thrissur Government Medical College, in the noon and the body will be handed over to his family.
Meanwhile, the several celebrities, including the Prime Minister of India have condoled the loss of the legendary actor.
Madurai High Court Summons To Rajinikanth !...
Superstar Rajikanth, director KS Ravikumar and the makers of Lingaa have been summoned by District Munsiff Court in Madurai, in the plagiarism case filed by a writer named Ravirathnam.
The case was filed in 2014 and the court has earlier ordered the producer to deposit 5 Crore rupees before releasing the film.
After a year, the additional district Munsiff court has summoned the makers of Lingaa to complete the trial.

Dhanush has announced that maestro Ilayaraja will be composing music for his production venture Amma Kanakku.

Chiyaan Vikram's last film "10 Endrathukulla" didn't go well with the audience, and the actor has now moved on to his next film in the direction of Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame.
This film which was earlier expected to be titled as "Mareesan", has now been officially titled as "IruMugan". The first look poster of hte film which has just released has already gone viral among the fans.
IruMugan will feature Nayanthara and Nithya Menen as the lead heroines, while Harish Jayaraj composes the music.
Asin - Rahul Invitation
Actress Asin is all set to marry her fiance Rahul Sharma on January 23. The engaged couple is now busy in now busy in inviting the guests.
The invitation cards are now ready, and guess whom the couple has invited first. It is none other than Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who has got the first invitation.
It is to remembered that it was Akshay who has made Asin and Rahul get into a relationship.

Nayanthara Vs Karthi New Segment...
Nayanthara will be acting next alongside actor Karthi in the film "Kashmora". This film also has Sridivya in a significant role.
As per the reports, Karthi will be playing dual roles, and 50% of the shooting is already over. Now director Gokul, has planned to shoot the sequences which will have Karthi and Nayanthara together. The sequences involving SriDivya has already been canned, in the first schedule.
Nayan will be joining the sets of Kashmore, in the second schedule which will commence very soon.

Rajini kanth told Amitabh Don't Come..
Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan, who was speculated to play villain for Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming magnum opus film '2.0' (sequel of Enthiran), has now said in a interview that he wasn't approached by anyone for this film.
Also he has clarified that, in 2010, when Shankar has approached Amitabh for Enthiran, it was Rajinikanth who has urged him not to act as Villain, as people will not accept him.
He quoted "Shankar had come to me and he wanted me to play the villain (in ‘Robot’). I called Rajini. He said, ‘people will not accept you as a villain, so don’t do it’ I said ok”.
