Ilayathalapathy Vijay, the leading actor in the Tamil cinema industry, has been named as the most googled personality in Srilanka this year. So the Kaththi actor who is well known to have a mega fan base in India, has now proved his dominance over the viewers of Srilanka.

Most of Vijay's films will release simultaneously in Srilanka, and he has attracted a mega fanbase of Tamil cinema lovers over a decade.

It is to note it is salman khan, who leads the list of top searched personality in Indian territory, while katrina kaif tops the list of Pakistan.

Mohanlal Met S.S Rajamouli....

Adding fuel to the rumours about Mohanlal and Rajamouli joining hands for a magnum opus film, the duo has recently been spotted together. Mohanlal has just released a photo of it in the social media, which has created a huge buzz.

But a souce has clarified that this wasn't a official meeting, and the photo was taken during the celebration of Christmas in Hyderabad. Mohanlal is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his upcoming Telugu-Malayalam bilingual film directed by Chandrasekhar Yaleti.

Protest Against Amy Jackson....

 Amy Jackson, the British actress is having a much succesful career in Indian cinema. She is currently shooting for Rajinikanth's "2.O" directed by Shankar.

A week ago, the actress has tweeted her support for banning "Jallikattu", claiming that bulls get hurt during the sport.

Kathakali Release This Week !....

Vishal and Pandiraj duo are joining yet again for a new film titled "Kathakali" and the shooting for this action entertainer has already been wrapped up.
The film has already been announced to release for Pongal 2016, while the songs and trailer will be out this week on 24th December. Starring Vishal, Catherine Tresa and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, the film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha.

Actress Nayanthara, the most sought after in Tamil cinema industry, will reportedly be seen dancing for a item song in Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film Dharmadurai.

Nadigar Sangam React For "Beep Song Controversy"

Beep Song which has leaked in cyberspace a week ago, is making a ruckus and Simbu has recently accepted the complete blame on himself for making this song. He even justified that this song was neither released offically nor used in a movie.
Both Simbu and Anirudh were booked by Chennai Police under Section 292 of the IPC (sale, etc., of ob scene content) and Section 65, 66 and 66-B of the IT Act. And it was said that both of them may be arrested.
Several celebrities in kollywood has condemed the song, and now it was Nadigar Sangam who has reacted hard on this issue.
They even justified their late reaction saying that, if they have commented much earlier, it would look like we were taking revenge on Simbu.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for Atlee directorial movie Theri. The film has Samantha and Amy Jackson as the lead heroines.
After a long schedule in Goa, the team has just returned to Chennai and they are currently shooting for the climax fight sequences.
It was said that there are high octane stunt sequences which Vijay has performed himself without using body double. The team beleives that this stunt sequence will surely impress the audience.

Beep Song Going To Strong..Simbu Anticipatory Bail

The beep song controversy in going strong day by day, and two more cases have been filed against Simbu and Anirudh in Chennai today. As the actor may get arrested anytime soon, he has filed a petition in Madras High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
Amidst this a group of fans have gathered in front of Simbu's home in Chennai T-Nagar, and two of them have tried to set themselves on fire, in support of Simbu. Police has managed to rescue them and brought the condition under control.
Meanwhile, Coimbatore police has issued fresh summons to both Anirudh and Simbu to appear before them on 4th January.

Thangamagan Ready To Release !...

Dhanush’s Thanga Magan has been censored with a clean U!. This family entertainer, which has been produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, also stars him in the lead role.
Directed by Velraj, Thanga Magan has Samantha and Amy Jackson as heroines. With the censors done, the film is now slated to hit the marquee on December 18th, as announced earlier.

Vijay Acting In Rajini Film MANNAN !

Illaiya Thalapathi Vijay is currently busy in "Theri" which is in the final stages. He will be acting next in the direction of Bharathan.
And the reports regarding his yet another film are doing rounds in Kollywood, claiming that his 61st film will be the remake of superstar Rajinikanth's vintage film 'Mannan'. It will indeed be a great news for all the Vijay fans.
Vijay may start this film likely in mid 2016 after completing his film with director Bharathan.

YG Mahendran attacks Simbu!..

Both Simbu and Anirudh are facing huge troubles due to the controversial Beep Song, which indeed has some derogatory words which were hidden with beeps.
Several celebrities have reacted strongly to this song and the latest one is Ygee Mahehdran, who wants the makers of this song to be hanged.
"One more controversy in Tamil film songs..BEEP SONG. Anirudh has clearly mentioned in a communique that he is in no way connected to this song. So much as I condemn this crap of a song..I think we should find out who is really is responsible for this nonsense of a song."
"There is neither sense nor melody in this piece of shit.It will only make children ask Wats the word hidden in the beep and we elders will be embarrassed . Why was this song even necessary...whether leaked or not only a sick mind can conceive such bullshit."

Baahubali - 2 !

After making numerous Boxoffice records by the first part of Baahubali, Rajamouli is currently busy in the preproduction works of its sequel with Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and many others.
The full pledged shooting will commence at Ramoji film city very soon. The shooting was set to start in october itself, but was postponed, as Rajamouli has decided to make changes to the script in the last minute.
This much anticipated sequel was expected to hit the screens by 2016, but the latest reports from Tollywood circle claims that the film will only release in early 2017.
The mega success of the first part has created a huge pressure over the makers, to make Baahubali-2 much more better technically.

Jackie Chan Enter Into Puri Jagannath

Star actor Mahesh Babu is currently busy in 'Brahmotsavam' and will soon be joining hands with Puri Jagannadh for a mega budget movie.
The buzz is that the director is planning a Hollywood star for this movie, and the reports claim that it will be none other than Jackie Chan.
Jackie is currently acting in 'Kunfu Yoga'and Puri has approached him via Sonu Sood who also plays a role in it. We have to wait for the official confirmation about the developments.
Reportedly this film will be made with a hefty budget, and release in all south Indian languages.

Simbu "Beep Song" Complaint..

The beep song controversy has reached a peak, and there were reports that Simbu and Anirudh may get arrested by the police very soon.
Now Simbu's father T.Rajender has filed a complaint at the police comissioner of Chennai regarding the leaked song.
Here is what he said in the complaint.
I am T.Rajendher, a leading film artist acted a lot of Tamil movies. My son simbu @STR us also a leading film artist had acted in numerous Tamil films and has got name, image, reputation and he has a lot of fan following.
He has also involved in singing of cine songs and recording music albums. My son is no in station, therefore I am constrained to give this complaint on behalf of my son with instructions form my son.
It is surorised to see the music track which was uploaded in the Youtube and circulated in the Whatsapp which contains a rough composing song with dummy words without a proper lyric along with some interpolated words which were not used by my son or the composer at the time of composing the said Music.
The said music was actually composed by the music Director Mr.Aniruth as a rough one and subsequently deserted.
I respectfully submit that the said Music or track had not been utilised in any of the films or private albums or properly recorded in a manner as the same has to be recorded as a song. Similarly, the said music track had never been officially released either by my son or by the composer.
I further admit that in the said content containing interpolated words which was not used by the music director or sang by my son. I reliably understand that some unscrpulous mischievous third person who may be connected with music industry or film industry had stolen the said content, illegally taken away the deserted composition of the music and added the interpolated words with ulterior motive to defame my son's name, image and reputation with the public and with the fans uploaded the same in youtube and circulated widely through whatsapp.
In view of the said illegal publication of the said sound track my son's name and image is affected and he is undergoing untole suffering and loss of reputation.
Therefore I request your goodself to initiate immediate action and find out the culprit who has circulated the said rough composed music with interpolated words to defame my son's name image and reputaion and oblige.

After a huge gap of two decades, Kamlahaasan's ambitious project 'Marudhanayagam' is buzzed to be revived soon.
Ayngaran International and Lyca International who is currently bankrolling Shankar's "Enthiran-2", will reportedly planned to start Marudhanayagam again in the upcoming years.
Who knows, anything may happen, and we have to wait till anything gets announced officially.
